Hello Mr. Fake, would you like to buy our product?
Don’t send your emails to Mr. Fake, but validate your data before sending! Not only can Verifigator validate email addresses, it also includes a powerful name validation and name parsing service.
When you are contacting your leads, the first impression is critical. You will create a much higher impact when you get your customer’s name right. Our service will tell you if a name input is a person’s name or a name of an organization, with a support for non English names as well.
Verifigator also identifies fake and vulgar names, gibberish, celebrity names and generic words in multiple languages, including languages with non A to Z alphabet.
After validation, Verifigator automatically splits names to their elements. Verifigator can detect which part of a name is a the first name and which is the family name.
For example, if your old website’s or app’s name input was done with a single input field, your database will be full of names in different formats. “John Smith”, “Smith, John”, “John S.”, “Mr. John A. Smith, Jr.”, “Rev John Smith, II” and so on and so forth. Verifigator can correctly analyze and parse all these name formats and extract the
person’s first name and last name from the data and any possible name prefixes (“Mr.”, “Ms.” etc.) and name suffixes (“Jr.”, ‘Sr.” etc.) with support for multiple languages and multi-part family names such as “Rev. John van der Smith”.
The name parsing module will also analyze the lead’s email address. For example, if your lead had entered a name “J. Smith” and email address of “email@example.com”, Verifigator will automatically combine these two data points and conclude your lead’s name to be “John Smith”! All this happens automatically and you can apply all this
powerful filtering, validation and parsing of name data to your entire mailing list or customer database up to millions of entries in size.
Parse and analyze organization names
Your leads can also be organizations. Verifigator can detect whether a name input is a name of a person or a legal entity such as a company or a non-profit organization.
Do you want users of your website to signup only using their personal name and email address and not a name of a company? Simply use Verifigator’s real-time name validation and it will let your system know if a user is entering a role based email address (“firstname.lastname@example.org”) instead of their personal email address, or if they are entering their company name and not a personal name as their name. Or, you can run the name validation to your existing mailing list or database of user data, separating business contacts from personal contacts, extracting the first name of people and flagging possible fraudulent names.
Extensive role email account detection
Detecting whether an email address is a so called role based email account sounds trivial, but it is not!
Role based email addresses such as email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org etc. are often used by companies but in many applications, you would rather want to have user’s personal email address instead. Verifigator allows you to detect and optionally block out role based email addresses from your input form.
Verifigator supports the detection of a wide array of role based email accounts, and it can also detect combinations of role based email address keywords. For example, it’s trivial to have a builtin list of the common role based email accounts such as “email@example.com”. However, it is not trivial to be able to detect that for example “firstname.lastname@example.org” is also a role based email account! Not only combining keywords, Verifigator supports the detection of non English role accounts as well. Do you know what is the most common role account in German? How about in Chinese? Verifigator does, so you don’t have to know!Start Your Free Premium Trial
